Will expiration of main domain affect addon domain hosting?

I have a primary domain and an add-on domain and am planning on letting the primary domain expire. Will this cause problems with my add-on domain hosting and do I need to do anything before the expiration? Thanks

Hello rsriley,

If you are referring to the domain name only, then no, the primary domain name expiration will not affect the addon domain. Only either the expiration of the hosting account or expiration of the addon domain itself would affect it.
