Hi, I am trying to setup a stat system for counter-strike: source - the video game. And to work it is using a perl script to start a listen server for the game server to send logs to. Current it is not receiving any data. and there's only a couple things that could be wrong. One of which i'm wanting to know is port 27500 being blocked by a firewall incoming to my hosting account? Also is this 173.205.127.124 the ip address pointing straight to my box? just to verify. Thanks

Hello synik4l,

Thank you for your question about Port 27500 and your game server stats. I used telnet to verify that Port 27500 is closed on that server. I'm sorry but due to our shared hosting environment, we are not able to open non-standard ports.

Another option may be to see if you can capture the stats from your game server in an XML/RSS feed which could then be displayed on your site here with us. That may depend on the game server, and your game server host would likely be the best source of information on that.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
