It looks like you had a WordPress installation at one point in your main document root for your website which is /public_html/. However that install mentions a database in the wp-config.php file that no longer exists on the server.
You then have another WordPress installation located in your /public_html/dir./ directory. Which is the one you're talking about here.
There are a few ways to correct this issue, we could change your website's document root so that it was just the /public_html/dir./ directory. This would make it so that the WordPress installation would be the main website for your domain. Doing it this way other files in /public_html/ would not be accessible, only files uploaded to the /public_html/dir./ directory.
Another option is you could learn about running WordPress from a sub directory , or move your WordPress install to a different folder.
