Softaculous tells me that my Joomla version has an update. But the update to the Joomla install has already been accomplished from within Joomla. So, Softaculous says version is 2.5.7, while Joomla says it's at 2.5.8. Is there a way to get Softaculous to know that the installation is already at 2.5.8 so it won't continue to alert me?

Hello Ron4mac,

Apologies, but basically the makers of Softaculous would need to update their software to match that version. We have no way of updating that unfortunately. However, when Softaculous issues an update (on their schedule), then we will apply it to the server and it should update the versions.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
