site name and content not Google searchable

I am located in China and the instructions to make my site Google searchable are not valid because the pages accessed in China during the process are different. How can I make my site and content Google searchable? I do not have the same problem with Bing.

Hello grahamf,

Although Google will crawl your site and decide whether it wants to include it in their index, the link in our tutorial is simply a submission form on Google for asking them to check out your site for inclusion into the index. This is designed to possibly get the page into the index faster, but it is not necessary.

I checked and do not see any specific instructions for websites in China, so I do not have any alternate instructions for telling Google it is there.
