How would i set up to domains with different urls that share members. Here is my scenario. If you join site A you are given a membership to site B. You can join B without paying for the added benefits of A. Would one site be the main domain and the other an addon or a sub domain

Hello LynneB,

I can't give you specifics for that unfortunately. It's not something that can easily be done without understanding some server side programming. Probably, the easiest way to handle it would be to have a web-based program (like Wordpress or an ecommerce system) uses a database. These same programs can also be setup to use multiple URLs. The key would be to have the websites accessing a common database, or perhaps synchronizing to a central database so that user permissions you are seeking apply to all of the websites.

Add-on domains are defined as separate domain names added to the hosting service (you can see in Add-on domains in the Cpanel). They are considered separate websites, but share the file system within the Web Hosting Hub server. Subdomains are created from a single domain. For example: domain1.com/subdomain1, domain1.com/subdomain2. "subdomain1" and "subdomain2" are considered subdomains, but share a common "primary" domain.

The functionality you are asking can definitely be done, but unless you have access to a developer (or use a program) it will be difficult to provide the functional goals that you are asking about. It would probably be easiest to use a single URL and subdomains to meet your needs. Suggestions for programs? I would suggest using a program like Wordpress. There hundreds of programs available via Softaculous within the Cpanel (Using Softaculous).

Hopefully, this gives you an idea on how to approach solving the problem that you have voiced.
