Hello Kevinfsl,

Photos online are a tricky thing. Every photo viewed on a page is downloaded to the visitors computer, so they can get them at any time as long as they know the location.

For the less technical, there are tricks such as scripts that prevent people from right clicking an image and saving it, but all browsers have a keyboard shortcut that allows the visitor to get around that in under a second.

The best way to protect your images would be to watermark them. This does not prevent anyone from taking them, but at least they take them with your name on them so you have more claim to the photo should you pursue action. Even watermarks can be removed by someone with enough time, determination, and the right software, however.

In short, there is no way to 100% prevent it. Watermarking is the best deterrent, however.

I hope this answers your question. If you have any more questions or information specific to the issue please leave a comment below so we can further assist you.

Best Regards,
Scott M.
