owncloud unexpected server response

I installed owncloud on a subdomain. I can log in through a desktop browser, iOS browser, but cannot login with the owncloud iPad app. It gives me an "Error. Unexpected response from server." When I checked my error log I got a 501 error. Any ideas?

Thank you for your question. I looked into this 3rd party iPad application, and it does not look like it does notrequire very much to function.

I recommend first making sure you have setup an owncloud server, since it is required for the iPad app to connect.

Then double checking your settings in the App.
