iWeb - issue posting 2 sites

I have just moved my site over from apple's MobileMe hosting to here and have my main site up and running now www.melindavermeer.com but not how I want it to be and not able to figure out how to get my secondary site past the 404 errors www.melindavermeer.com/Resume
Originally, I had the main site as www.melindavermeer.com/Knitwear and the www.melindavermeer.com would redirect automatically to it and www.melindavermeer.com/Resume would be available with it's own menu structure independent of the main site.
I wasn't able to post either with those site names, so changed my main site over to "public_html" per the iWeb how-to to get it up but that of course makes any links I have outside my own site un-usable - like www.tiny.cc/melindablog I have used on twitter when I have blog updates to point to my main blog page, emails I've sent out in the past with links, etc.

How can I keep my established structure intact? Should I be adding my old site names to the iWeb 'directory/path' space that was noted to be left blank?

Hello Melindavermeer,

iWeb is particularly odd about its settings. To post your sites, you should be able to follow the instructions in our article on publishing with iWeb.

For the files you are trying to publish independently to /Resume, you may need to follow the instructions for the primary domain, but add /Resume in the directory path field. That should place the files from that publishing session in that folder.

If the /knitwear and /resume are part of the primary domain, simply publishing the primary domain should bring over the structure as it is on your computer.

An alternative is to also use an FTP program such as CyberDuck to properly move files over. You can ensure the files remain in their structure more easily with an FTP program since you have more control over the files as they move.
