Extracting Joomla

Hi-
I am very new to this and I have tried following the instructions and watching YouTube video tutorials. I have tried downloading Joomla and it is a zip file so when I go to extract it, it gives me all the files under the zip. What am I doing wrong? I have also tried to download WordPress with similar difficulty so I am totally missing somthing, please let me know so I can start building my site. Thanks!

Hello kruff1717,

I am not understanding what particular issue you are having. I can see your joomla and wordpress installations are yourdomain.com/joomla16 and yourdomain.com/wp (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain)

They appear to be set up correctly. Please respond with any particular issue you are having or what it is you are trying to accomplish and we can help find out your next step or help fix the issue.
