When software such as a POS system connects to a website or webserver, it will need connection information. That information depends on how it is connecting. If it is simply pulling up the website, it will likely just need to know the domain name. If it is connecting via remote database connection or FTP, there is more specific information it will need.

Please comment below what type of connection it is attempting and we can help you find the right information to make that connection. This should be found in the documentation for your POS software.
