Hello seinnyo, and thanks for your question.

I'm sorry but I don't quite fully understand what exactly it is you're asking for. It seems that you're trying to run Joomla on your local server, and you're having issues accessing the administration section?

Without being able to look at your site because it's hosted locally it would be hard to tell exactly what they problem might be. Are you attempting to install the latest Joomla 3.0 or an earlier version?

Is this a clean install of Joomla, or have you recently installed any extensions, or modules? Can you access a specific component of the administration directly when you try to access it this way?:

http://YourDomain.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_installer

What is the exact error that you're receiving? Is it just a page not found error, or something along the lines of the administration component not being found?

Some of the common problems that might cause the administration section from being accessible are:

  • The /administrator/components/ directory was removed, or missing.

  • The com_admin component was remove from the list of Joomla's extensions in the table jos_extensions.

  • The com_admin component was disabled by its enabled field being set to 0 in the jos_extensions table.

Please let us know as much information as possible on the installation process that you used and exact errors that you're receiving so that we can attempt to better troubleshoot this issue for you.
