Installng Applications

With Webhosting Hub, I'm hosting my main website using FTP. I'm also evaluating the site builder and have posted the test site in a folder of my main site. I'm also interested in evaluating some of the other applications you make available such as Wordpress and Joomla. Would I be able to create test sites using these applications and publish them in other folders of my main site?

Hello Clives5,

Yes, you can do so, but you have to do each in a subfolder of your site. They will not be able to co-exist in the same directory. Remember that ALL website files are by default located under the PUBLIC_HTML folder of your account. You will need to plan the installation using subdomains for your tests.

For example, if your domain is xyz.com, then in order to setup both a joomla and wordpress site, you could do this:

xyz.com/joomla
xyz.com/wordpress

You would need to use those paths as your installation paths.
