I'm using the Beez2 template and want to get rid of:
1. the "We are volunteers" slogan
2. the Category, Publication Date, Written By and Hits info that appears on every page.
How can I do this?

Hello Overwhelmed,

Thank you for your question. In Joomla 3.0 these options are in the same place for the most part:
Login to the Admin Panel -->Roll your mouse over Content and click the Article Manager -->Click the Options button.

You can then choose what items you want to Hide/Show, including the hit counter.

Also here are some guides I found online regarding your questions:

1. Remove the We are volunteers slogan.

2. How to Hide Categories.

How to show create date, which also shows the setting for hiding as well.

How to hide the article author.
