Hi, I am installing Joomla and on the Pre-Installation Check page under Recommended settings: I found that I have "display errors" turned on and it is recommended that it be turned off. How do I turn "display errors" off?

Hello abikerider,

Thank you for your question about turning off display errors. When installing Joomla 2.5, you can turn this off by updating your local PHP settings. You will want to change display_errors to off in your php.ini file.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
