I just registered my new domain/site today, and I went and did a Wordpress install, set up email, etc. However, when I go to the link given to access my Wordpress control panel, I get an IE error saying the page doesn't exist. Is this because there's a lag time between when the site is created and when it's available to me to tinker with?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks :)

Hi Lunatic,

I'm sorry you're having trouble viewing your new site. New domains can take up to 24 hours after registration to become fully functional. You can work with your new site through your temporary URL until that time. Please see our article on Installing WordPress on your Temporary URL for step-by-step instructions.

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any additional assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
