I started my own website today. But when someone does a search using my Domain name, what will show up in their search so far? I have Not Publish my site yet as well. And when will people see Coming Soon......from my site when they search? Thank You

Update 7/2/12....Ok my site has been published for the past week. My site shows up on a Google Search, but taking forever with Yahoo search. I submitted my website to Both search engines as well, and registered also. Is yahoo known to take a little longer in cases like this? Anyone also hear of Addme.com to help with getting on more search sites?? It's free too I read. would it also be to my benefit to sign up with Addme.com? They list 20 search engines your site will be added to, with Google being the main one. But the other 19 search engines there I never heard of. What does anyone think of this addme site as well. Thanks again!!!

Hello Musicmaker73,

Website information on Search Engines either require that you submit your website information, or that their website robot/crawlers find your content when they are exploring the web for new content. It's not instantaneous, nor is it something that your hosting service does for you. If your website is not published, then there should be nothing out there regarding your site. Once your domain name is registered, it's usually about 24 hours before it would be recognized by name servers and then usable on the web. At this point, if you did not publish anything, then there will be the default "under construction" message from Web Hosting Hub. Getting your website to show up on a search engine requires that you put some effort into submitting your content to the different search engines, and also making your site easily identified by search engines - something called search engine optimization. Run a search in a search engine like Google on "search engine optimization" and you'll get a flood of information on what you can do to help get your website recognized in a search engine.
