I had a hard drive failure that caused me to have to reload Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. I have about 10 email boxes all setup for IMAP but only this one gives this error.

Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for eric@elevy.net.' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for eric@elevy.net. Error: The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Hello Levy99,

It appears that definitions for your subscriptions were either damaged or lost for that mailbox. You can try to re-define the subscriptions to the folders to see if that will resolve the issue. The error you're seeing is a generic internal Microsoft error - it unfortunately has nothing to do with our servers. The worst case scenario would be to delete and then re-create the account. I would suggest trying rebuild the subscriptions first, if that doesn't work, then try rebuild the account, or use the Microsoft repair option for their files - they have a utility to help rebuild their files. And if that all fails, then I recommend trying to re-create the account from scratch after deleting it first. Make sure to make a backup first to see if you can recover emails later. Here's a link for subscribing to folders in Outlook 2010:
