Sent mail not stored on server

I am using Outlook Express. My Sent Mail in OE shows me the email that I sent. My setting in OE are set to save messages on server. I am unable to view the sent mail in Horde client. How do I get to save my sent mail on the server?

Hello Harish,

Thank you for your question regarding storing your sent mail on the server. I understand this can be confusing.

First, make sure your email is setup as IMAP, instead of POP. This is because POP by default downloads the the emails to outlook, so the inbox, sent box, trash, etc. reside within outlook.

Next, subscribe to the IMAP folder. This allows you to view, and save to the folders on the server.

Now when you log into any software in webmail such as Horde, you will see the IMAP folders, since webmail functions as IMAP.
