I want to open my new website in Dreamweaver so I can edit it there. I had created the site using Webhosting Hub's Premium Website-Builder.

I am ready to delete it and start over if necessary. But still do not know how to do this.

But I really wanted to download the template I already have and edit it in Dreamweaver.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Hello Peter513,

While you can download published site files, it's not recommended to edit them in a program outside of the builder. In the future if you publish again from the Premium Website Builder all of your changes made outside of the builder would be overwritten.

If you do just want to use the template from the builder, and going forward only work with the files in Dreamweaver, you could download your published files from the server to your local computer. Once you've made edits to the files, you would then publish those files from Dreamweaver on your local computer back up to the server.

For more information on Dreamwever, please see our Dreamweaver Getting Started Guide and Configure Settings with Dreamweaver. If you have any trouble downloading your site files in Dreamweaver, you can also use a stand alone FTP program to access your site files on the server.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or need any additional assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
