I used the web builder to set up site tree. I am having unregistered people get into my forum and blogs and post spam. How can I stop this or should I learn html coding and use something I don't understand

Hello jccrac5,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with Spam forum and blog posts. Unfortunately, the blog and forum modules in the Premium Website Builder do not offer the level of control that full featured blog and forum software packages do. I would recommend integrating a third party software that will allow you the level of control you need. Here a few suggestions:

Forum Software

Getting Started Guide: Online Forum / Bulletin Board
If you choose to use either one of the applications recommended in that article:
Security and Moderation in SMF
Preventing Spam in phpBB 3.0.6 and Above

Blogging Software

WordPress. You can control comments on your WordPress Posts (Settings > Discussion) and even install the Akismet plugin to provide additional Spam comment protection.
You could also choose to install a plugin like bbPress and use WordPress for both blogging and forum software.

If you would like to continue using the Premium Website Builder for the rest of your site, you can integrate any of these software programs with your Premium Website Builder site.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
