Trying to set up and publish...

Hello,

I am trying to belatedly set up a website and when I hit publish I get the following message?

The site cannot be published to the specified location.
Cannot publish to the specified host via FTP. Authorization failed.

You must login before you can ask a follow up question.

You must login before you can submit an answer.

Hello RealCA,

Generally, this means that the password is incorrect or needs to be reset for the Cpanel. You can do this here:

Reset Password in AMP

You should also be using your Cpanel USER NAME - you can find it in the same area that you're resetting the password in AMP. The Cpanel user name and password are the main FTP credentials for your account.
