After I renew my transferred domain name, will I maintain full ownership?

<p>If I transfer my domain name to webhostinghub as a "free transfer", will I maintain full ownership of the domain name once I renew for $11.99 the second year? Will Webhostinghub have ownership of my domain at any time in the future?</p>

Hello SDC123,

The only way you do not "own" the domain name is if you did not register the domain with a domain regsitrar using your name. If you transfer it to another domain registrar, the main thing that changes is that you have a different domain registrar company managing your domain. Web Hosting Hub actually uses a domain registrar company called Melbourne IT to manage domains for our customers. All domain names are managed a subscription basis. The 11.99 is the cost to have the domain registrar manage the domain for a year - and again the domain belongs to the registrant name used to register the domain.

So in reference to your questions: 1) yes 2)No - domain belongs to you. Domain registrars only manage them.
