I'm thinking of moving my hosting from 1&1 to Hub, but I have a question.

I need a new domain name so I would like to get it when I sign up with Hub; however, I don't want that domain to be the main one associated with my hosting. I own several domains already and I want one that I already own to be the base domain, not the one that comes free when I purchase hosting. Does that make sense? Perhaps it doesn't even really matter....I'm not sure. Thank you for your help.

Hi RHoeffner,

Thank you for submitting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. Your question makes perfect sense and is completely fine. When you sign up for hosting with Web Hosting Hub you get one free domain that you can redeem at any time. If you set up the account with one domain that you already own, that will be your primary domain. Once you are ready to redeem your FREE domain, and use it as an add-on domain on your account you will be able to do this in your Account Management Panel.

If you need further assistance or have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Thank you!

Tim S.
