Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to change the free domain name that I registered while buying hosting from you.

I know it is possible to add another domain to my hosting, but I want to know if I can release the current one and get another?

Many thanks

Hello Rajat,

I'm sorry but it wouldn't be possible to change the free domain at this time. What you could do is register a new domain name for $11.99 for the first year of registration and cancel the registration of the free domain. This would cancel the renewal of your free domain registration so that it does not renew next year. Once that free domain has expired next year, you can request that we adjust the billing for the other domain so that it would be renewed for free going forward.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.

Update: 2012.07.02
Due to rising domain costs by the Government Agency that controls domain fees (ICANN/Verisign), we've had to change our policy on free domain registrations / renewals. Free domain registrations are no longer free for the life of your hosting account, but are instead free for the first year only. Further details can be found in our Terms of Service.
