I am an associate for an insurance co.
As such, they provide a personalized "hub". In the past, this was forwarded to my old website.
Looking at your domain transfer page, it ends with .com. However the "hub" information, because it it personalized ends with .com/MS/Multisite?site=hub&assoc=pmcemp. How do I transfer this domain to you?
Also, once transfered, can I still work on my site and at a later date include the various links from the company hub to my site.
Thanks

Hello Buster,

Thank you for your question about transferring a domain. I'm sorry but the example "domain" you gave is not actually a domain. While it is a link to your page, the part that ends with .com is the domain name. Due to the fact that it isn't actually a domain name, it wouldn't be possible to transfer it to our management.

I would suggest registering your own domain name, and ask the insurance company to set up a redirect that would send visitors to your "personalized hub page" (with the insurance company) to your new domain name hosted with us.

That URL looks like it would is part of a WordPress network (a.k.a. Multisite). You could easily install WordPress for your new domain name, but you most likely would not need a Multisite install, just a single install of WordPress should suffice.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
