upload of zip files

Hello ScottM,

It me again with yet another question.
I have zip webpages I need to upload to my site but dont exactly know how. I a spet-by-step help please. After uploading, will I be able to to use wordpress to edit the pages if and when I want.?

Hello claridad37,

Uploading a zip file is done the same way as any other file. You can do so via the cPanel File Manager or via an FTP client.

As for editing it via WordPress, that may not be possible. WordPress doesn't have pages that it edits, but instead it edits tables from a database. That is where all the data for pages and posts are kept. It simply builds the page to show you as needed.

You may need to edit the pages in the zip file with another text editor such as notepad, or notepad++.
