Awstats doesn't update

Hi:

I am having trouble using Awstats. When I click the "update now" link near the top of the Awstats page receive the following error message:

Error: Log is currently being processed in the background. Cannot update.

The reason for me clicking the update now link is that without update, the date presented at Awstats is outdated by at least one or two days.

Please advise.

Hello Johann,

The AWSTATS program is set to run every night during a slow period when the server load is below a certain point. If the time comes for the program to run and the server is still above the minimum load, that day gets skipped. There can be times when the server does not meet the minimum server load for a while. We are working on a better solution for those who want to use AWSTATS and Logaholic. As an addition to those stats programs, many customers also use Google Analytics. It complements the Lgoaholic and AWSTATS nicely.
