Hi Guys,

I need to implement a payment system that allows customer to pay for an item with a payment plan. For example, a customer can choose to make 4 monthly payment instead of paying a lump sum.

I know that PayPal allows this but it is very cumbersome and docs suck. Does anybody has an experience and knowledge how to do it in Paypal? What other payment system support this and where are the docs?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Bruha,

There are many solutions out there, but I have not heard of any that offer what you are saying. And integrating into your website may depend on your actual code or web application that you are using. We cannot help with that unfortunately. In my opinion, you may want to check out Google Apps for Business, they may provide you something that may meet your needs. The solutions we provide in Cpanel are mainly for ecommerce where products are sold. You may need to create a subscription product that will cover the period you're talking about. A few of the ecommerce solutions - OpenCart and possibly PrestaShop might be able to do this for you, but this would also entail possibly rebuilding your website. Checkout Google Apps though, it might provide a possible solution for you. Otherwise, look at trying to set up an ecommerce branch of your services with one of the solutions I mentioned, and then create subscription plans - this way charges recur - per the periods you designate.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
