can't login to wordpress site

For some reason, I can't log into my temporary site url. It doesn't recognize my e-mail/password. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello Upstart, and thank you for your question.

Typically for a WordPress site you wouldn't enter in your e-mail address as the username, but rather the username you picked when installing WordPress.

Also usually things won't display properly or function correctly over the temporary URL with the way that WordPress is setup by default so we would typically recommend just temporarily updating your computer's own local hosts file to force your computer to resolve your real domain name directly to our server.
