Thank you for your question about choosing a WordPress theme for a website. I would recommend first checking with your theme's documentation or the developer of your paid theme to see if there is a full width template already included. If there is, simply change your pages to use that template instead of the template that includes the sidebar.
Otherwise, the recommended way to remove a sidebar from pages in WordPress is to create a new custom page template and use that template for each of the pages where you do not want the sidebar to appear. For instance, the template for pages in WordPress is usually page.php. So, you could create a custom template based off of page.php that doesn't include the code (which is what adds the sidebar to a template).
Since the theme you are currently using is a paid theme, I would encourage you to ask the developer of the theme if they have included a built-in way to remove sidebars. The normal way of removing sidebars recommended above, may not work as expected due to the coding of the theme.
Lastly, if you would like to keep the sidebar area but just show different content/text in the sidebar area, an easy to use plugin is the Display widgets plugin. Using this plugin, you can choose what widgets appear on each page of your site. For instance, this is a great way to include contact information on one or more pages while including something entirely different on another page or pages.
I hope this helps to clarify customizing your Wordpress site. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need additional assistance.
