I would like to totally remove and reinstall wordpress

Hi JoeLeist,

thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. If you installed WordPress using Fantastico de Luxe, the best way to remove it is to go back into Fantastico. When you go into Fantastico you'll see all the installations you have made through the interface. Next to the WordPress installation click "Remove".

Once the installation is removed via Fantastico you can re-install it there as well. Here's an article to walk you through the installation process:
