Need to know if having WordPress on the root directory is best organization. Currently, I just want the blog. In the near future, I will create and upload the rest of the web content to complete the whole website.

I know from previous experience that a neat, simple directory structure is key. I have not done this for a while.

Hi Staffordshire,

Great question about keeping your files and folders organized. Did you know you can use WordPress for your entire site? It's not just for blogging anymore. You can create your site content in Pages within WordPress and publish those. If you prefer to create your main site files in another way, you can move WordPress to a subdirectory or subdomain so you can keep your site files and your WordPress files organized separately.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance.

Regards,

Christi N.
