wordpress wp-admin log in not working

I recently purchased a new domain and set it up as an addon to my main account. I installed WordPress, but when I go to redexceed.com/wp-admin/ i get a 404 error:

http://redexceed.com/not_found/

Hello chaowie, and thanks for the question.

It looks like you were missing the WordPress default (.htaccess) Rewrite rules. I've gone ahead and placed these in your domain's document root:

# BEGIN WordPress

RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]


# END WordPress

I've confirmed that your WordPress administrator dashboard should now be accessible over your admin URL:

http://redexceed.com/wp-admin/
