My website is built using WP and I have a notice to upgrade to version 3.4.1. The min requirements show that PHPversion of 5.2.4 is needed but in checking on cPanel it looks like WebHosting is using version 5.2.17

When will you upgrade the PHP version?

Isn't version 5.2.17 newer than 5.2.4?

In any event, versions 5.3 and 5.4 are available via the cPanel. Under Software/Services, select PHP Configuration. Then use the dropdown to select the update.
