If you registered a domain name through us but have decided to transfer your domain registration to a different company, there are several steps that will need to be followed so you can transfer your domain.
Please note, once we have released the domain management rights for your domain, you will be unable to manage that domain through AMP. If you want to point your domain to new Nameservers, it's best to make that change before requesting the release of your domain.
- Request Management Rights be Released
Contact our support department and request the managment rights for your domain be released. Please note, account verification (either the AMP password or last 4 digits of the credit card on file) will be needed before we can release a domain name.
Once management rights are released, you will receive an email from us confirming the release.
- Recover Domain Registry Key
Go to:
http://www.melbourneit.com.au/cc/recover/index
Input your domain name and click the Continue button. Your domain's registry key will be emailed to you.
- Unlock your domain
