Concrete5 keeps archives, called versions of any changes you make to your website. Since these versions can accumulate over time and take up disk space, it is good to clear them out periodically.

In this tutorial we will show you how to delete these old page versions in Concrete5. Everything except the 10 most recent versions will be delete, so be sure you will not need to revert back beyond that before proceeding.

Removing Old Page Versions:

  1. Login to your Concrete5 Dashboard.
  2. Roll your mouse over the Dashboard button and select System & Settings.
  3. Under the Optimization section click Automated Jobs. This will bring up the Automated Jobs menu.
  4. Look for the Automated Job with the name Remove Old Page Versions, and click the Play arrow to the left of it. You will also see in the description "Removes all except the 10 most recent page versions for each page," and the last time this was run.

It may take some time to complete the last step, you will see the last run date, and the results of the last time it was run has updated.
