Some search engine tools, such as google analytics require you to add their tracking code to your website. Concrete5 provides a place to easily add or edit this tracking code within the System & Settings menu.

In this tutorial we will show you how to use the Tracking codes option, available in the SEO & Statistics section of Concrete5.

How to Use a Tracking Code:

  1. Login to your Concrete5 Dashboard.
  2. Roll your mouse over the Dashboard button on top and click the System & Settings option to bring up the System & Settings menu.
  3. Under SEO & Statistics select Tracking Codes. This will bring up the Tracking Codes menu.

Enter your tracking code into the available field, and choose whether you want it added to the header or footer of the page. Depending on the company, some prefer the code in a specific location. I recommend reviewing the documentation provided by the company supplying the tracking codefor their specific preference.
  4. Once you have made your selection, click the blue Save button on the bottom right.

Congratulations, now you know how to add your Tracking code to your Concrete5 website.
