With Web Hosting Hub you can add an unlimited number of Addon Domains to your account.  Addon Domains are completely independent from the primary domain and can have its own original content.

First, log into your cPanel and select "Addon Domain" under the "Domains" sub-header:

addon1

On this screen you will fill out the details of the Addon Domain.

addon2

New Domain Name:

Enter the domain name you are adding to your account.

Subdomain / Ftp Username:

When adding a new domain to your account, cPanel automatically configures an additional FTP user for this domain. While the average user doesn't need or use this account, cPanel requires that you enter an ftp username to continue.

Document Root:

The document root is the directory where the files for this website will be located. The default directory for new domains is public_html/NewDomain

Password:

The password you enter here is the FTP password for the FTP user mentioned above. As previously stated, most users don't use this new FTP account, but cPanel requires that you enter a password here.

Password (Again):

Enter the above password again to ensure you are typing it correctly.

Strength:

Weak passwords are easier for hackers to guess, and the strength tool will give you a score on how strong your password is.

Please note: While you can add any domain, unless the nameservers are pointed to Web Hosting Hub you will not be able to view the website on your browser through just the domain name. If you need to test an Addon domain before pointing the domain to our Nameservers, please review our article on testing your website through your temporary URL for more information.

Once you have filled out the information requested, click on "Add Domain."

Now that your domain is added, you can confirm it under the "Modify Add-on Domain" section, which also provides the Document Root for your Addon Domain:

One last important note regarding Addon domains. Removing a domain from cPanel will NOT cancel the actual domain registration. If you have a domain registered through Web Hosting Hub that you do not wish to renew, please review our article on cancelling a domain registration for the specific steps to follow.
