Email forwarding is routing an email message delivered to one email address to a different email address.

What is an email forwarder?

Email Forwarders allow you to send a copy of all email from one email address automatically to another email address.  One use of this is if you have an old email address you no longer use but do not want to miss any emails.  Also, if you want to use your @domain.com email address on your website but want incoming emails to go to your personal email address, you can set up a forwarder to accomplish this.  To set up an Email Forwarder, you can do so in your cPanel or through the Webmail login page.

First, log into your Webmail by visiting yourdomain.com/webmail in your browser (substituting "yourdomain.com" for your primary domain name):

login1

Now log into your Webmail, using your email address as the username and the password for that email address as the password (make sure that you do not use your cPanel username and password at the webmail link):

login2

Once you have logged in, make sure that the proper email address is showing as highlighted below and then click on "Forwarding Options":

Now you can create your new forwarder.  First, click on the "Add Forwarder" button:

Type in the address that you want the email forwarded to and click "Add Forwarder":

Your Forwarder has now been created.  Now when an email is sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , it will automatically be forwarded to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . If you respond to any emails that are forwarded, remember that it will show as "from" the email address that the email was forwarded to.  For example, if an email was sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and was forwarded to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , when I respond to the sender from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. that is where the email will be shown as "From."
