Once you have created folders as we discussed in the previous chapter, you can use email filters to direct incoming mail into your folders.  For example, if you have some emails that come in with 'invoice' in the subject, you can set it so that all incoming emails with 'invoice' in the subject go to the 'invoice' folder.  In each client guide we have below, we have included information and screenshots to help you set up your email filters.

To assist you in making these modifications we have articles in our Knowledge Base for many of the most popular email clients:

An important note about filters in Webmail. While filters can be set through cPanel which will be in place for all three Webmail clients and will run on any new emails, if you need to run a filter on email that's already been delivered, you will want to create and apply filters in the Horde Webmail client. Horde is the only Webmail client that allows filters to be ran on email already delivered. This note does not apply to email clients installed on your local computer. Most email clients you install on your local computer (such as Thunderbird, Outlook, MacMail, etc.) will allow you to run filters on email already delivered.

I love the straightforward step-by-step instructions with reminders of what we're working on and where we are in the process.

Might be nice to include a troubleshooting link afterward; my migration isn't working, and I may have done something wrong before or while consulting these instructions.

Thank you for making it clear and simple.
