Modx Revolution refers to its back-end administrator application as  the Modx Manager.  This is the application and location for the modification and management of the Modx application. The following tutorial shows how to login to the Modx Manager used to administer the Modx Revolution application.

Accessing the ModX Administrative Manager - Modx Manager

1. Open an internet browser (the following screenshots use Mozilla Firefox)
2. Type in the URL for your MODX website followed by the word "manager".  For example:
   
   http://mymodxwebsite.com/manager
   
   This will bring you to the login screen for Modx Manager:
   
   
   
   
   
3. Type in the user name and password , then click on the login button at the bottom right hand corner.  This will log you into the Manager.
   
   
   

If you have problems logging into the Modx Manager, you can select "Forgot your Login?" under the password box to get an email sent with a password recovery link.  If you still require help with the password, you may want to contact the administrator of the software or review this link:  Manually Resetting a User Password in the Database.
