There may be times where orders have been recorded by the OpenCart system, but the order does not show up as an active or processed order.  In order to find these orders, there is a Sales order list that you can run to see if the order was recorded on the database, called Missing Orders.  The following article explains how to find and run this report.

 

Using the Missing Orders Report

  1. Login to the OpenCart 1.5 Administrator dashboard.
  2. Missing Orders report under Sales>Orders menuHover over the menu bar where it reads SALES.  When the drop-down menu appears click on ORDERS.
  3. Click on the drop-down arrow under the STATUS column in the middle of the page.  Click on MISSING ORDERS to select the option.
  4. In order to run the report, click on the blue FILTER button at far right of the page.

 

Surprisingly, this not a report in the REPORTS section of OpenCart, so it is easily overlooked.  If you receive word that customers are placing orders but nothing is being processed, you should immediately run this report to make sure that the orders are not being recorded as "missing."  Here's a sample of how a missing order may appear in the report.
