store-logo-2In this tutorial we will guide you in changing your osCommerce Store logo, which can be accomplished from the Admin panel section. A company logo can help you add branding to your E-commerce website, allowing visitors to identify and differentiate your store from the many other online eshops.

I am running the latest version of osCommerce at the time this tutorial was written, which is: osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.3

This can change the look of your website, so you may have to work with the image to make it fit seamlessly. Image files will only be accepted by osCommerce if they have the file extension '.png'. The size of the default oscommerce logo is: 200pixels × 50pixels

How to Change Your Logo:

  1. Login to the osCommerce Admin Panel.
  2. Click the Store Logo link on the left side of the Admin panel.

  4. Navigate to your new logo on your computer and select it, then click the blue Save button.
You will see a notification on the top stating "Success Success: The store logo has successfully been updated!" Now when you navigate to your osCommerce website, your new store logo will be displayed in place of the default logo.
