Microsoft Word is a popular word processing program that many people use when creating content for their website. This gives the user a local copy of their site content which can be edited and updated locally before placing the text into their Premium Website Builder pages.

An issue can arise when pasting into the builder from Word which causes additional tags to be shown on the published site in Internet Explorer. This is due to hidden tags embedded into the Microsoft Word text.

To keep this from occurring, instead of using the regular paste function to paste your text from Microsoft Word, instead use the "paste from Word" button in the builder. This button can be found in the top row of the builder tool bar:

This will bring up a small window where you will paste in your text from Word. Be sure both "Ignore Font Face definitions" and "Remove Styles definitions" are selected. After you've pasted in your text, click the "OK" button.

Now your text will not include the embedded hidden tags.
