Occasionally, you will have items that will cost very little and can be sold with minimal security.  To sell these items quickly, it often helps to use a Guest Checkout option.  The following tutorial will walk you through setting up the Guest Checkout option in the the PrestaShop 1.5 Administration Panel.

Setting up the GUEST CHECKOUT OPTION in the Prestashop 1.5 Administration Panel

  1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
  2. Hover over the menu bar where it says PREFERENCES, and then click on ORDERS in the drop down menu. Select the GUEST CHECKOUT option per the list below:

  3. Select YES to enable GUEST CHECKOU or NO to disable the option.  If it is set to know then the user will be required to register before they can purchase anything on your commerces store.

The GUEST CHECKOUT option allows you to control security over how people are purchasing items from your Prestashop store.  Enable GUEST CHECKOUT to allow your guests to quickly and without requiring any further information.
