Prestashop 1.5 owners may often find the need to group customers so that they do business directly with a company in a direct and often privileged way.  This interaction is often labeled as B2B or "business to business".  The following tutorial will guide you in enabling or disabling B2B mode in the Prestashop Administration Panel.

How to Enable or Disable B2B Modein Prestashop 1.5 Administrator

  1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
  2. Hover over the menu bar where it says PREFERENCES, and then click on CUSTOMERS in the drop down menu. Scroll down the list of options and look for Preferences: GENERAL.  Select the Enable B2B mode option in the menu as shown below:

  3. Select YES to enable B2B, or NO to disable it.  As per the note below the selections, some B2B features will be available if activated.
  4. Select the green SAVE button in the top right hand corner of the screen to save your selection.

Prestashop 1.5 allows B2B functionality such as creating groups that can make purchases with no tax.  B2B options like these will increase as Prestashop's extensible and open source format matures.
