You can speed up the registration process  by changing the registration type for Prestashop 1.5 . To do this, you can set the registration process type to either "Only account creation" or "Standard" account creation.  The following tutorial will guide you in selecting the registration option that you wish to use. How to Set the Registration Process Type in PrestaShop 1.5

1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
2. Hover over the menu bar where it says PREFERENCES, and then click on CUSTOMERS in the drop down menu. Scroll down the list of options and look for Preferences: GENERAL.  Select the Registration process page option in the menu as shown below:
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the drop-down menu to select either "Only account creation" or "Standard (account creation and address creation)"
4. Select the green SAVE button to save your selection

The registration process consists of creating an account with a user ID and password and can also include address information.  To make registration faster, "ONLY ACCOUNT CREATION" can be selected to allow customers to input their addresses at a later date or as may be required after purchasing a product.
