It may be occasionally needed to delete customer titles from the list of titles available in your PrestaShop installation.  Customer titles may differ from region to region and may change if your store moves or if your customer base changes.  The following tutorial will walk you through the process of removing titles from PrestaShop 1.5.

Removing Customer Titles from PrestaShop 1.5

  1. Login to the Administrator Dashboard as an Administrator
  2. Go to the menu bar and hover over CUSTOMERS.  You will see a drop-down menu appear.  Click on the item at the bottom of the menu - TITLES -  and you will see something similar to the screenshot below:

  3. In order to delete a title, you will need to first select one.  Click on the check box to the left of the title in order to select it.

  4. You can remove titles by either clicking on the garbage can icon to the far right or by selecting DELETE SELECTED at the bottom of the screen.

Erasing titular labels for your customer can be important in order to avoid confusion as it may be a culturally sensitive requirement.  Customers see these titles when they log-in into their accounts as well.  Here's a screen shot  from an account to show where customers will see the title listed:
