Free shipping is an option that is integrated into the Prestashop 1.5 administration panel.  It can be set for both weight and price.  The following Prestashop 1.5 tutorial will show you how to set free shipping based on a particular price.

Enabling Free Shipping based on Price in Prestashop 1.5

1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
2. Hover over the menu bar where it says SHIPPING, and then click on SHIPPING in the drop down menu.  You will see two existing sections, one called HANDLING and another called BILLING. Scroll down until you see the following entry:
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click in the box where it says FREE SHIPPING STARTS AT ($).  Fill in a price that you wish to use when free shipping will START.  If you do not wish to provide free shipping by price, then leave the price at 0.
4. Select the green SAVE button in the top right hand corner of the screen to save the value you have selected.

FREE SHIPPING is often a requirement for ecommerce, so Prestashop provides a few methods to set the option. Using overall cost to determine if shipping will be free is something Prestashop has integrated in version 1.5.  Make sure to set the appropriate price that matches your site, products and your clientele.
